If your dog is extra fussy about being touched, Zak George made a great video on getting your dog to love ear cleaning, so be sure to check that out!
Take out one or two of the super soft cotton pads and begin to gently wipe the outside of the ear, removing any wax and dirt that you see.
Slowly work your way into the ear, making sure to not push wax further inside your dog’s ear canal. Use a clean wipe for the other ear. Did you forget there were two ears?
Repeat this process until dirt, wax and odors significantly decrease. This can take 2-5 days, depending on your pup’s ear size and floppiness. Be patient and consistent, especially if this ear cleaning thing is a new experience for your dog.
Make cleanings for your dog part of a weekly routine, not an annual one. If you want more information, check out the full instruction guide.
For questions about your dog's specific needs, contact a qualified veterinarian. Not for human or animal consumption. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Safe for dogs 8 weeks of age or older.
